How to use

  1. Apply AmpuSalve to clean, dry residual-limb skin before putting on your prosthetic liner, sock or prosthesis.
  2. Use only a small amount at a time. A little goes a long way.
  3. Gently massage the cream over the areas requiring protection until it is fully rubbed in and the cream goes clear.
  4. Do not leave visible white cream on the skin. AmpuSalve is formulated to work when properly massaged into the skin, rather than left as a thick surface layer.
  5. Allow the skin to settle briefly before putting on your liner, sock and prosthesis.
  6. AmpuSalve is designed to help protect residual-limb skin from the effects of sweat, moisture and friction inside the prosthetic socket, while moisturising and caring for the skin.
  7. Reapply when required, particularly after washing or showering and before refitting your prosthesis.
